🥬 Spinach and Ricotta Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup ricotta cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp chili flakes (optional for a spicy kick)
Olive oil for baking or frying
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a pan, sauté spinach with a little olive oil until wilted, then let it cool.
3️⃣ In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and chili flakes. Add the cooled spinach and mix well.
4️⃣ Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on the baking sheet.
5️⃣ Brush with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Alternatively, fry in a pan with a little oil until crispy.
6️⃣ Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce! 😋
