Ingredients:

🔸 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or breasts)

🔸 1 cup long-grain white rice

🔸 2 cups chicken broth

🔸 1 cup heavy cream

🔸 1 small onion, finely chopped

🔸 2 cloves garlic, minced

🔸 1 teaspoon paprika

🔸 1 teaspoon onion powder

🔸 1 teaspoon garlic powder

🔸 ½ teaspoon dried thyme

🔸 Salt & pepper, to taste

🔸 2 tablespoons butter

🔸 2 tablespoons flour

🔸 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions:

1️⃣ Season & Sear – Season chicken with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.


2️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics – In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft.


3️⃣ Make the Gravy – Stir in flour and cook for a minute. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream. Let it simmer until thickened.


4️⃣ Add Rice & Chicken – Stir in uncooked rice, then nestle the chicken back into the skillet.


5️⃣ Simmer to Perfection – Cover and let it cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.


6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy – Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot! 😋
