Ingredients:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil (for Brussels sprouts)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and tender.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until a brown crust forms. Add butter and baste the steaks for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak with roasted Brussels sprouts on the side, drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired. Enjoy!
