Sautéed Garlic Cabbage with Tender Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 small head of cabbage, shredded
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Start by heating some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. While the oil is warming up, season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Once the oil is hot, cook the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side until they're golden brown and fully cooked. After they're done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
Using the same skillet, add in the minced garlic and sauté for around a minute until it becomes fragrant. Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir it well to combine with the garlic. Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring now and then, until the cabbage becomes nice and soft. Mix in the soy sauce and adjust your seasoning with a bit more salt and pepper if needed.
Finally, slice the cooked chicken breasts and serve them over the sautéed cabbage. Top it off with some fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Enjoy your meal!
