Outback Steakhouse’s Alice Springs Chicken


 

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

1 cup honey mustard dressing

1 cup sliced mushrooms, sautéed

2 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese

Directions:

Preheat Oven and Prepare Chicken: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on each side, about 5-6 minutes per side. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.

Layer Toppings: Spread honey mustard dressing over each chicken breast. Top with sautéed mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and chicken is cooked through.

Serve: Serve hot, ideally with a side of mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
