🍊 Orange Creamsicle Cake Recipe 🎂

 


Ingredients:

For the Cake:


1 box white cake mix

1 cup orange soda (Fanta or similar)

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Zest of 1 orange

For the Orange Cream Filling:


1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon orange zest

For the Frosting:


1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cups powdered sugar

2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake:


Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans.

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, orange soda, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Beat until smooth.

Divide batter evenly between the pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cakes cool completely before assembling.

2️⃣ Make the Orange Cream Filling:


Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange zest until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

3️⃣ Prepare the Frosting:


Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Add orange food coloring if desired.

4️⃣ Assemble the Cake:


Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of the orange cream filling.

Add the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with the orange cream cheese frosting.

5️⃣ Decorate & Serve:


Garnish with orange zest, whipped cream, or white chocolate shavings.

Chill for 1 hour before serving for best flavor.
