**Dark Chocolate Orange Cake**
**Rich and Moist Chocolate Cake with a Hint of Orange Zest**
**Ingredients:**
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional
**Directions:**
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and orange zest.
5. Mix in orange juice and Greek yogurt until smooth.
6. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
7. Fold in dark chocolate chips if using.
8. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
10. Let cool before slicing and serving.
