Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups marinara sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned. Pour in marinara sauce, simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce, then layer noodles, ricotta mixture, more meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
