Baked Peach Cobbler 🍑🍰


 


Ingredients:  


4 cups fresh peaches, sliced (or canned, drained)  

¾ cup granulated sugar  

1 tsp lemon juice  

1 tsp cinnamon  

½ tsp nutmeg  


Batter:  

1 cup all-purpose flour  

1 cup granulated sugar  

1 tsp baking powder  

¼ tsp salt  

¾ cup whole milk  

½ cup unsalted butter, melted  


Instructions:  


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.  

2. In a bowl, toss sliced peaches with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.  


Batter:  

3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.  

4. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth.  

5. Pour batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.  

6. Spoon peaches and their juices over the batter (do not stir).  

7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.  

8. Let cool slightly before serving.  


Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 40 mins | Total Time: 55 mins | Servings: 8  


Notes:  


1. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.  

2. Use frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available.  

3. Add a sprinkle of brown sugar on top for extra caramelization.  

4. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat before serving.
