🍕🐔 Ultimate Chicken Pizza
This Chicken Pizza is a perfect combination of crispy crust, melty cheese, and flavorful toppings. With seasoned chicken, vibrant veggies, and your favorite sauce, it’s a slice of heaven that’s sure to please everyone!
Ingredients 🛒
For the Pizza Dough (or use store-bought):
🍞 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
🥄 1 tsp sugar
💧 3/4 cup warm water
🥄 2 cups all-purpose flour
🧂 1 tsp salt
🛢️ 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings:
🐔 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
🌶️ 1/2 tsp paprika
🧂 1/4 tsp garlic powder
🛢️ 1 tbsp olive oil
🍅 1/2 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
🧀 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
🌶️ 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
🧅 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
🥓 2 slices turkey or beef bacon (optional, cooked and crumbled)
🌿 Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions 👩🍳
1️⃣ Prepare the Dough:
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
2️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken, paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 3–5 minutes until the chicken is seasoned and heated through. Set aside.
3️⃣ Assemble the Pizza:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle half the cheese on top.
Add the cooked chicken, bell peppers, red onion, and turkey bacon (if using). Top with the remaining cheese.
4️⃣ Bake the Pizza:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
5️⃣ Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Slice and serve hot with a side of ranch or marinara for dipping!
