🛒 Ingredients:
▪️4 turkey wings (about 2-3 lbs)
▪️2 tablespoons olive oil
▪️1 teaspoon garlic powder
▪️1 teaspoon onion powder
▪️1 teaspoon paprika
▪️½ teaspoon dried thyme
▪️½ teaspoon dried rosemary
▪️1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
▪️½ teaspoon black pepper
▪️1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for added brightness)
▪️1 cup chicken broth (for roasting)
▪️Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
📝 Instructions:
Step 1. Prepare the Turkey Wings:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the turkey wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture (this helps them crisp up).
Trim any excess fat or skin if needed.
Step 2. Season the Turkey Wings:
In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the turkey wings all over with olive oil, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the wings, making sure they’re well coated.
Step 3. Roast the Turkey Wings:
Place the seasoned turkey wings in a roasting pan or on a baking sheet. If using a roasting pan, pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan to help keep the turkey moist while roasting.
Cover the wings loosely with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Step 4. Crisp the Skin:
After 45 minutes, remove the foil and continue roasting the wings for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy, and the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Step 5. Optional Step – Add Lemon Juice:
For a burst of flavor, drizzle the turkey wings with lemon juice just before serving.
Step 6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
