Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry

250g ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

150g shredded mozzarella cheese

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion softens.

Season the mixture with thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper, then stir to combine.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Once cooled, mix in the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread the beef and cheese mixture evenly across the center.

Roll the pastry tightly around the filling, ensuring the seam is sealed.

Slice the rolled pastry into 6-8 pieces and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
