🥔 Sausage and Potato Bake with Sour Cream - comfort food at its best! 🥔


  


Ingredients:  

4 large russet potatoes, diced  

1 lb smoked beef sausage, sliced  

1 small onion, chopped  

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese  

1 cup sour cream  

½ cup milk  

2 tablespoons butter, melted  

1 teaspoon garlic powder  

1 teaspoon paprika  

½ teaspoon salt  

½ teaspoon black pepper  

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)  


Directions:  


Preheat the Oven:  

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.  


Prepare the Potatoes and Sausage:  

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sliced sausage, and chopped onion. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.  


Bake the Dish:  

Transfer the potato and sausage mixture into the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.  


Add the Creamy Mixture:  

In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream and milk until smooth. Remove the baking dish from the oven, uncover, and stir in the sour cream mixture.  


Top with Cheese:  

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.  


Garnish and Serve:  

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm. Enjoy this creamy, cheesy, and hearty Sausage and Potato Bake!
