Pumpkin Delight
Creamy Pumpkin Delight with Whipped Cream Layers
Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
Additional whipped topping for garnish
Chopped pecans for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish to form the crust.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping, then spread this layer over the graham cracker crust.
In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until well combined. Spread this pumpkin layer over the cream cheese layer.
Add an additional layer of whipped topping over the pumpkin layer and smooth evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
