- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced

- 2 tbsp butter

- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

- 1 cup beef broth

- ½ cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard for added flavor

#### **Instructions:**


**Beef Tips:**

1. **Sear the Beef:**

   - Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.

   - Season the beef tips with salt and pepper. Add them to the pan and sear until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.


2. **Cook Aromatics:**

   - In the same pan, sauté the onion until softened (about 5 minutes).

   - Add the garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.


3. **Simmer:**
