Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta

 Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups bowtie pasta (farfalle)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)

1 tsp paprika (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions:

Cook the Beef:

In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain any excess fat, if necessary.

Add Onion and Garlic:

Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is translucent and fragrant.

Add Broth and Pasta:

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta, stirring to combine. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover. Cook according to the pasta package instructions, usually about 10-12 minutes, until the pasta is al dente.

Stir in Cream and Cheese:

Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese. Add the paprika, if using, and mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Season to Taste:

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve:

Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese or herbs if desired.
