 Ultimate BBQ Smash Burger Stack 🍔🔥



This towering BBQ burger is layered with crispy beef patties, melted cheese, and drenched in smoky barbecue sauce. It’s the ultimate treat for BBQ and burger lovers alike!


Ingredients:


1.5 lbs ground beef (80% lean for juicier patties)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

8 slices cheddar or American cheese

1/2 cup barbecue sauce (choose your favorite flavor)

4 large hamburger buns, toasted (or 2 buns if stacking all patties in one)

Optional: Lettuce, pickles, onion slices, or coleslaw for crunch

Instructions:


Form the Beef Balls: Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball (about 3 oz each).


Cook the Patties: Heat a large cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until very hot. Place a few beef balls on the skillet at a time. Using a spatula, smash each beef ball down firmly until very thin. Season with salt and pepper.


Add Cheese and BBQ Sauce: Once the edges of the patties start to crisp (about 1-2 minutes), flip each patty and immediately add a slice of cheese on top. Add a spoonful of BBQ sauce over the cheese, letting it melt into the patty as it cooks. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the patties are done.


Stack the Patties: Place the first cheesy BBQ patty on the bottom bun, then stack another cheesy BBQ patty on top. Continue layering until you have 3-4 patties per burger.


Assemble the Burger: Top with additional BBQ sauce if desired. Add optional toppings like lettuce, pickles, or a spoonful of coleslaw for extra crunch.


Serve and Enjoy: Place the top bun on the massive stack, press down slightly, and enjoy the messy, saucy goodness!
