Philly Cheese Steak Crescent Ring
Ingredients:
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak
- 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef steak and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle with the dry Italian dressing mix and stir to combine.
3. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
4. On the prepared baking sheet, arrange the crescent roll dough triangles in a circle with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the points facing outward, forming a ring.
5. Spread the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce mixture over the wide ends of the dough.
6. Layer the provolone cheese slices over the mayonnaise mixture, then spoon the steak and vegetable mixture over the cheese.
7. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck them under the wide ends to secure the ring.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
9. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
