Made a crockpot full of Mississippi Mud chicken

 Made a crockpot full of Mississippi Mud chicken thighs yesterday…. Very good stuff!



I use the same recipe for Pot roast, pork roast, chicken thighs and chicken breast.

1 (3 pound) chuck roast, pork roast, chicken thighs or chicken breast ( in this one I used chicken thighs)

6 pepperoncini peppers 

( don’t add the liquid… just the peppers)

1 (1 ounce) packet au jus gravy mix

1 (0.4 oz) package buttermilk ranch dressing (such as Hidden Valley®)

1 stick of Land-o- Lakes salted butter ( chop up and lay on top)

Place chicken thighs in bottom of the crockpot… 

Spread the 2 packets over the chicken. Chop up butter over top and lay peppers on top of chicken thighs.    DO NOT ADD WATER OR ANYTHING ELSE.   Cook on low for 5-6 hours.

Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
