Homemade Mound Brownies 🤤

**Ingredients:**


  * 1 cup all-purpose flour

  * 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  * 1 teaspoon baking powder

  * 1/2 teaspoon salt

  * 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  * 1 cup granulated sugar

  * 2 large eggs

  * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  * 1/2 cup milk

  * 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut


**Instructions:**


1. **Preheat oven:** Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

2. **Mix dry ingredients:** In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

3. **Cream butter and sugar:** In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

4. **Combine ingredients:** Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.

5. **Fold in coconut:** Gently fold in sweetened shredded coconut.

6. **Bake:** Drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.

7. **Cool:** Let brownies cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
