Easy Crescent Taco Bake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) Crescent Rolls (8 count)
1 lb lean ground beef (at least 80%)
3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Optional: Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream for serving
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
Press the dough over the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch square pan or 10-inch pie plate to form a crust.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the salsa and taco seasoning mix, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Spoon the beef mixture into the crust-lined pan.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Bake for 14-17 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve with optional toppings of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.
Servings: 4-6
