Cheesy Garlic Bread Shrimp Grilled Cheese with Monterey Jack 🥪🧄
Ingredients:
8 slices of garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Olive oil (for frying)
Directions:
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
Heat a separate skillet over medium heat. Lightly brush the outside of each slice of garlic bread with olive oil.
Place 4 slices of garlic bread in the skillet, and top each with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Distribute the cooked shrimp evenly over the cheese, then top with the remaining slices of garlic bread.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
