Cheesesteak Tortellini in Rich Provolone Sauce 🧀🍝
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
1 package (19 oz) cheese tortellini
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add sliced beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in provolone and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
Return cooked beef, onions, and peppers to the skillet. Stir in the cooked tortellini and toss to coat everything in the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes:
Swap out beef for chicken or mushrooms for a variation.
Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal!
