𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

8 oz cream cheese, softened 🧀

1/4 cup sour cream 🍶

1/2 cup finely chopped green onions 🧅

1/2 cup diced red bell pepper 🌶

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 🌿

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄

1/4 teaspoon onion powder 🧅

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂

4 large flour tortillas 🌯

𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

1. Prepare the cream cheese mixture: 🕑 In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese 🧀 and sour cream 🍶. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend them together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no lumps, as this will ensure a smooth spread for the pinwheels. This creamy base will hold all the flavors and textures of the filling. 😋🧀

2. Add the vegetables and seasonings: To the cream cheese mixture, add finely chopped green onions 🧅, diced red bell pepper 🌶, and freshly chopped parsley 🌿. These colorful vegetables add crunch, freshness, and a burst of flavor. Stir them into the cream cheese mixture until they are evenly distributed. Next, sprinkle in the garlic powder 🧄, onion powder 🧅, and a pinch of salt and pepper 🧂. Mix everything together until the flavors are well incorporated. This savory filling will be the heart of the pinwheels. 🍴🌿

3. Spread the filling: Lay each of the large flour tortillas 🌯 flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture evenly across each tortilla using a spatula. Make sure the filling reaches the edges of the tortilla so that every bite has the full flavor and texture. Be careful not to overload the tortillas with too much filling, as this could make rolling them up more difficult. 🌯✨

4. Roll the tortillas: Starting from one end of each tortilla, roll it up tightly, making sure the filling stays evenly distributed inside. The tighter you roll the tortilla, the better the pinwheels will hold their shape when sliced. Once each tortilla is rolled, place it seam-side down to keep it from unrolling. Continue with the remaining tortillas. 🌯🌀

5. Chill the pinwheels: Place the rolled tortillas on a plate and cover them with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the pinwheels for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Chilling them helps the cream cheese filling set, making it easier to slice the tortillas into neat, even pieces. It also enhances the flavors, allowing the seasoning to meld together. ❄️🕐

6. Slice and serve: After the pinwheels have chilled, remove them from the refrigerator. Use a sharp knife to slice each roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange the slices on a serving platter, and garnish with additional fresh parsley 🌿 for a pop of color. Serve these delicious and easy pinwheels as a party appetizer, snack, or light lunch. They are perfect for any occasion! 🥳🍴
