Best Baked Chicken Recipe

 



Ingredients:

- 2-3 lbs chicken pieces (legs, thighs, wings, breasts, or a combination)

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 1 tsp cayenne pepper 

- 1 tsp paprika

- Kinders Buttery Poultry Blend seasoning 

- Kinders ‘The Blend’ seasoning

- 1 tbsp garlic purée

- 1 onion

- 1 bell pepper 

- 1 lemon 

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Rinse the chicken pieces and pat them dry with paper towels.

3. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil and seasonings 

4. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade.

5. In a baking sheet arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer.

6. Bake for 45 Minutes , baste chicken and return to the oven for another 15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

7. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to crisp up the skin.

8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

*Tips and Variations:*

- For crisper skin, pat the chicken dry with paper towels before baking and increase the oven temperature to 450°F (230°C) for the last 10-15 minutes.

- Add some lemon wedges or slices on top of the chicken for a burst of citrus flavor.

- Mix some chopped herbs like rosemary or parsley into the marinade for extra flavor.

- Try using different seasonings like cumin, coriander, or smoked paprika for a unique flavor profile.
