Peaches and Cream Cheesecake Bars



For the Bars:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups sugar

4 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 (21 oz) can peach pie filling

For the Cheesecake Layer:

1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp almond extract

Instructions :

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.

For the batter: Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Incorporate the flour and salt. Spread half of this mixture evenly in the pan.

For the cheesecake layer: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth. Spread over the batter in the pan.

Layering: Spoon the peach pie filling over the cheesecake layer. Add dollops of the remaining batter on top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until browned. Allow to cool completely.

For the glaze: Mix powdered sugar with milk and almond extract. Drizzle over the cooled bars.

Cut into bars and enjoy!
