Sweet and Spicy Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenders
Ingredients :
1 lb Chicken Tenders (approximately 8-10 pcs)
8-10 tranches de bacon
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preparing the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wallet on top for uniform baking. Spray the rack with a nonstick baking spray.
Season the chicken:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over the chicken tenders, ensuring all sides are coated.
Bacon wrapped in bacon:
Wrap each chicken well with a slice of bacon, tossing lightly as you wrap. Secured with a toothpick if needed to keep bacon in place.
Coat with sugar mixture:
Sprinkle any remaining seasoning mixture over the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders, pressing gently to make it stick.
Cooking:
Place wrapped tenders on prepared stand. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crispy.
Grillette optionnelle :
For extra crispy bacon, grill for 2-3 minutes when cooking time is over.
Servir :
Remove toothpaste (if used) and serve hot.
