Double Cheeseburger Stack with Tater Tot Skewers
Ingredients for Burgers:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 burger buns (optional for a stack)
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Ingredients for Tater Tot Skewers:
20-24 tater tots
Skewers
Optional Sauces:
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Mustard
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake tater tots according to package instructions until crispy. Thread them onto skewers once baked.
2. In a bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
4. Assemble the stack: Start with a crispy tater tot patty or burger bun base, layer with lettuce, tomato, and a beef patty. Add another patty and repeat the layers. Secure with a skewer topped with tater tots.
5. Serve warm with your favorite sauces or sides.
