1 small onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, minced

1 egg

½ cup (50 g) breadcrumbs

1 tsp soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water

For the Creamy Drizzle:

3 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream

1 tsp lemon juice

Garnish:

Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1. Prepare Meatballs:

In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape into small balls.

2. Cook Meatballs:

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and fully cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and minced garlic. Stir and bring to a simmer. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

4. Coat Meatballs:

Return the cooked meatballs to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the honey garlic sauce.

5. Prepare the Drizzle:

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice until smooth.

6. Assemble and Garnish:

Transfer the meatballs to a serving bowl. Drizzle with the creamy sauce and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
