For the Buttery Roasted Potatoes:
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
For the Sides:
2 cups steamed broccoli
2 cups cooked wild rice (or any rice blend)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 cups mixed greens
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Ranch or your favorite salad dressing
For the Steak Topping:
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Buttery Roasted Potatoes:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss halved baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
Roast for 20–25 minutes, or until tender and golden. Drizzle melted butter over the potatoes and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley.
2. Grill the Steak:
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Grill steaks for 4–5 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or until desired doneness.
Let rest for 5 minutes while preparing the topping.
3. Make the Steak Topping:
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté sliced onions in a bit of butter or bacon grease until caramelized.
Top the steak with caramelized onions, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese. Place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese.
4. Prepare the Sides:
Steam the broccoli until tender and season with a pinch of salt and butter.
Cook the rice and mix in shredded cheddar cheese while hot to make it creamy and cheesy.
Assemble the salad with mixed greens, crumbled bacon, and your favorite dressing.
5. Serve:
Arrange the steak, potatoes, broccoli, rice, and salad on a large plate.
Garnish with extra cheese or bacon if desired.
This dish is satisfying and perfect for a hearty dinner. It brings a restaurant-quality experience to your home kitchen. Enjoy!
