Garlic Butter Steak Bites

 Garlic Butter Steak Bites 🥩

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs (680 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Season Steak: Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Sear Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the steak pieces in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Combine and Serve: Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to warm through. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes:

Steak Selection: Sirloin is recommended for its balance of tenderness and flavor, but other tender cuts like ribeye or tenderloin can also be used.

Avoid Overcrowding: To achieve a good sear, cook the steak bites in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.
