Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps 🧀🌯
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- 4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup sliced olives (optional)
- 1 cup ranch or garlic sauce for dipping
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
3. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken, minced garlic, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a good amount of the chicken and cheese mixture in the center of the tortilla, followed by a handful of fresh spinach, diced tomatoes, and olives (if using).
5. Wrap it Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards and then roll it tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.
6. Bake the Wraps: Place the wraps seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
7. Serve: Remove the wraps from the oven, slice them in half, and serve warm with ranch or garlic dipping sauce.
