Cheesy Beef Stuffed Rolls Recipe 🍞🧀🍖
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef 🥩
1/2 cup diced onion 🧅
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀
1/2 cup marinara sauce 🍅
1/2 tsp dried oregano 🌿
1/2 tsp dried basil 🌿
1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) 🍞
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
In a skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Roll Out the Dough:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
Assemble the Rolls:
Spread a layer of the beef mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the beef.
Carefully roll up the dough from one edge to the other, forming a log. Slice the log into 1-2 inch pieces.
Bake the Rolls:
Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them a bit apart. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm, perhaps with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
