Ingredients:

Ground Beef – 1 lb (lean or regular)

Tater Tots – 1 (32 oz) bag, frozen

Cream of Mushroom Soup – 1 can (10.5 oz)

Shredded Cheddar Cheese – 1 ½ to 2 cups

Onion – 1 medium, finely diced

Garlic – 2 cloves, minced

Frozen Mixed Vegetables – 1 cup (optional: peas, carrots, corn)

Milk – ½ cup

Worcestershire Sauce – 1 tablespoon (optional)

Salt and Pepper – to taste

Butter or Olive Oil – for sautéing onion and garlic

Fresh Parsley or Green Onions – chopped, for garnish (optional)

Hot Sauce – for a spicy kick (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Heat butter or olive oil in a pan. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until softened.

Add ground beef to the pan, cook until browned, and drain excess fat.

Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Mix in frozen vegetables if using.

Transfer the beef mixture into a casserole dish, top with shredded cheese.

Layer frozen tater tots over the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Garnish with parsley or green onions, and add hot sauce if desired.
