Cajun Steak and Eggs with Hash Browns**Cajun Steak and Eggs with Hash Browns 🥩🍳🥔🔥 Ingredients: For the Steak: 2 ribeye steaks (or steak of choice) 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 3 garlic cloves, minced Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) For the Hash Browns: 4 medium potatoes, peeled and grated 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste For the Scrambled Eggs: 4 large eggs 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream 1 tablespoon butter Salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1- Season the steaks generously with Cajun seasoning on both sides. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside. 2- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Spoon the garlic butter over the steaks and let them rest. 3- For the hash browns, squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes using a clean kitchen towel. Heat olive oil and butter in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the grated potatoes in a single layer, seasoning with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until crispy and golden brown. 4- In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and milk or heavy cream. Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture. Cook slowly, stirring gently until the eggs are soft and creamy, about 3-4 minutes. 5- Serve the Cajun steak with scrambled eggs and crispy hash browns on the side.
