Ricotta and Spinach Quiche

 Last night dinner I made A delicious and classic Ricotta and Spinach Quiche . Hopefully you will enjoy this delicious Ricotta Quiche as much as I do and it will become a family favourite. So let’s begin: 



Ingredients:

- 1 x 9-inch pie crust ( shop bought) 

- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

- 1 cup ricotta cheese

- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 cup diced onion

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Roll out pie crust and place in a 9-inch tart pan.

3. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add spinach and cook until wilted.

4. In a bowl, combine ricotta, cheddar, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.

5. Add cooked spinach mixture and eggs to the ricotta mixture. Mix well.

6. Pour mixture into pie crust.

7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

8. Remove from oven and let cool.

Tips and Variations:

- Use frozen spinach, thawed and drained, if fresh is not available.

- Add diced ham or bacon for added protein.

- Substitute feta or goat cheese for a different flavor.
