Pizza Monkey Bread
Ingredients:
2 cans (16 ounces each) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni, quartered)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups marinara or pizza sauce (for serving)
Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a deep round baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Dough:
Cut each biscuit from the can into quarters. In a large bowl, toss the biscuit dough pieces with the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning until evenly coated.
3. Layer the Ingredients:
In the greased bundt pan, layer the dough pieces with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese. Alternate between layers of dough and the toppings until all the ingredients are used, making sure to spread them evenly throughout the pan.
4. Bake the Monkey Bread:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown on top. The cheese should be melted and bubbly.
5. Cool and Serve:
Let the pizza monkey bread cool in the pan for about 5-10 minutes before carefully turning it out onto a serving plate.
Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
