Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 bell peppers (red & yellow), sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Salt & pepper, to taste
8 oz penne or spaghetti, cooked
Directions:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
Add the remaining olive oil to the same skillet, along with the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables become tender.
In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Pour this into the skillet with the veggies.
Return the steak to the skillet, stirring everything together. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Serve over cooked pasta of your choice.
