Hot Sausage Cheese Dip

 Hot Sausage Cheese Dip 😋  



This creamy, spicy dip is perfect for game day or any gathering with friends and family!


Ingredients:  

- 1 lb Italian sausage, removed from casing  

- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese  

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese  

- 1 cup cream cheese, softened  

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese  

- 1/2 cup milk  

- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour  

- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard  

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder  

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder  

- Salt and black pepper to taste  

- Tortilla chips or pretzels, for serving  


Directions:  

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it up into crumbles, until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.

2. In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk and flour until smooth. Heat over medium, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Add softened cream cheese, whisking until melted and creamy.

4. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, mixing until smooth and fully melted.

5. Add Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to taste, stirring to combine.

6. Fold in the cooked sausage until evenly distributed.

7. Serve hot with tortilla chips or pretzels for dipping.
