Instructions:

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan by greasing it and lining it with parchment paper.

   

2. In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to ensure an even blend.


3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar together until the mixture becomes thick and pale, then add the vanilla extract for flavor.


4. Carefully fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, until just combined and you can no longer see streaks of flour.


5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cake springs back when you lightly touch its surface.
