Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 can (8 ounces) crescent roll dough
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup pumpkin puree
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Directions:
Dough Preparation: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Filling Mix: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth and creamy.
Assemble Rolls: Place a spoonful of the pumpkin cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll them up starting from the wide end to the point.
Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the rolled crescents with the beaten egg for a nice golden color.
Bake: Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
Serve: Let the rolls cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
