Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of bacon, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add olive oil and cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
Pour in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
Return the chicken and bacon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors together.
Serve the chicken topped with the creamy spinach, bacon, and mushroom sauce.
