Garlic Butter Baked Scallops



Ingredients:


- 1 pound sea scallops, cleaned and patted dry

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

- 1/4 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and black pepper to taste

- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)


Directions:


1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

3. Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.

4. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and cooked through. The edges should be slightly golden brown.

6. Remove from the oven and let the scallops rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
